Always remember, when you are a Christian, you have the Holy Spirit, your Helper. We have God’s power right inside our very souls, always! He never leaves, and He is always telling us what to do.

여러분이 그리스도인일 때 여러분의 헬퍼 ,성령이 있음을 항상 기억하십시오. 우리의 영혼 속에는 언제나 하나님의 능력이 있습니다! 그분은 결코 떠나지 않으시며 항상 우리에게 무엇을 해야 하는지 알려주십니다.

진정한 친구

Living out a commitment in real life is not always easy or fun. That is why we need to make a commitment to God first and then find a best friend who also made this commitment. 

실생활에서 약속을 실천하는 것이 항상 쉽거나 재미있는 것은 아닙니다. 그렇기 때문에 우리는 먼저 하나님께 서약을 하고  그 다음에 이 서약을 한 가장 같은 믿음을 가진 크리스천 친한 친구를 찾아야 합니다.

사울 왕이 다윗을 죽이려고 시도하다

King Saul wanted to kill David and that was a really huge problem. David could have killed Saul twice, but he chose not to. Instead, he patiently trusted God. God protected David from King Saul, and He used Saul, even though Saul was sinning, to help David get ready to be the new king

사울 왕은 하나님을 무시하고 다윗을 계속 죽이려 했습니다. 그런데도 다윗은 사울을 두 번이나 죽일 기회가 있었지만 그렇게 하지 않았습니다. 오히려 그는 참을성 있게 하느님을 신뢰했습니다. 하나님은 사울 왕으로부터 다윗을 보호하셨고, 도리어 사울을 사용하셔서 다윗이 새로운 왕이 될 준비를 할 수 있도록 도우셨습니다.

다윗은 약속을 지켰습니다.

Even though Saul had tried to kill David, David promised he wouldn’t kill Saul’s family. Mephibosheth had not done anything to deserve King David’s love and kindness. However, David treated Mephibosheth like family out of his love for Jonathan and God.  
사울이 다윗을 죽이려고 했지만 다윗은 사울의 가족을 죽이지 않겠다고 약속했습니다. 므비보셋은 다윗 왕의 사랑과 친절을 받을 만한 일을 하지 않았습니다. 그러나 다윗은 요나단과 하나님을 사랑하는 마음으로 므비보셋을 가족처럼 대했습니다.

다윗이 자신의 죄를 고백하다

We all sin, and we all have to live with the consequences. Sometimes the consequences are really bad. But God wants you to do exactly like King David did. when you sin, He wants you to admit, confess, and repent so you can continue to have a strong relationship with God!

우리는 모두 죄를 짓고 그 대가를 안고 살아야 합니다. 때로는 댓가가 정말 고통스럽지요. 그러나 하나님께서는 여러분이 다윗 왕처럼 행동하길 원하십니다. 죄를 지었을 때, 여러분이 하나님과 사랑의 관계를 계속 유지할 수 있도록 죄를 빨리 인정하고, 자백하고, 회개하기를 원하십니다!

솔로몬이 지혜를 구하다

The God Solomon loved and honored is the same God we love and honor! God can hear you just as much as He could hear Solomon when he asked for wisdom. 

솔로몬이 사랑하고 존경하는 하나님은 우리가 사랑하고 존경하는 바로 그 하나님이십니다!  하나님은 솔로몬이 지혜를 구했을 때 들으셨던 것처럼 여러분의 기도도 들으십니다.

When asking God for wisdom, do so with open hands!
두 손을 들고 하나님께 지혜를 구하세요!

솔로몬이 다른 신들을 따르다

God came to Solomon and told him exactly what to do. He blessed Solomon with everything he asked for and more! Solomon should have stayed faithful to God all the days of his life. But that’s not what happened.

하나님은 솔로몬에게 해야 할 일을 정확히 말씀하셨습니다. 그는 솔로몬이 구한 모든 것과 그 이상으로 솔로몬을 축복했습니다! 솔로몬은 평생 하나님의 뜻을 따랐어야 했습니다. 그러나 그렇게 하지 않았습니다.

하나님께서는 엘리야와 과부의 필요를 채워주셨습니다.

Our God is the real God. He is all-powerful, and He can provide everything we need. The most important thing we need is to have a personal relationship with God. He wants to be our Heavenly Father, and He has a very big plan for your life.

우리 하나님은 진짜 하나님이십니다. 그분은 전능하시며 우리에게 필요한 모든 것을 공급하실 수 있습니다. 우리에게 가장 필요한 것은 하나님과 인격적인 관계를 갖는 것입니다. 그분은 우리의 하나님 아버지가 되기를 원하시며 여러분의 삶을 위한 아주 큰 계획을 갖고 계십니다.

엘리야가 바알의 선지자들에게 도전하다.

Even though King Ahab could have killed him, Elijah believed in the one true God and stood firm for Him. God used Elijah to help the Israelites believe.

아합 왕이 그를 죽일 수도 있었지만 엘리야는 유일하신 참 하나님을 믿었고 그분을 위해 굳건히 서 있었습니다. 하나님은 엘리야를 사용하여 이스라엘 백성이 믿도록 도우셨습니다.
