No matter how old you are, God wants you to study His Word. He wants you to know it not to become smarter, but to know and love Him more. 

여러분이 몇 살이든 상관없이, 하나님은 여러분이 하나님의 말씀을 배우길 원하세요. 하나님은 우리가 더 똑똑해지기 위해서가 아니라, 하나님을 더 잘 알고, 더 사랑하게 되기를 바라세요.

기드온이 미디안 사람들을 물리친다.

He will never leave you. How does this make you feel? Gideon’s God is the same God we are thinking about right now.  When I really think about Joshua 1:9 and the life of Gideon, I can truly feel confident knowing God is with me both now and forever.

하나님은 절대로 여러분을 떠나지 않으세요. 이 사실을 알면 어떤 기분이 드나요? 기드온의 하나님은 지금 우리가 생각하고 있는 바로 그 하나님이에요. 여호수아 1장 9절 말씀과 기드온의 삶을 떠올릴 때, 하나님이 지금도, 영원히 나와 함께하신다는 것을 믿으며 정말 큰 용기를 얻을 수 있어요.

트럼펫을 만들어 봅시다.

삼손이 죄를 짓다.

Romans 3:23 teaches us that we all sin and fall short of the glory of God. We are sinners, just like Samson. 

로마서 3장 23절에 보면, "모든 사람이 죄를 지었고, 하나님의 영광에 이르지 못했다"라고 되어 있어요.  우리도 삼손처럼 죄를 지을 때가 있지요.

우리는 올라가기도 하고 떨어지기도 합니다.

룻이 나오미를 먼저 생각하다

God says we need to obey Him by loving all people. Let's take a moment and think about how Boaz, Naomi, and Ruth felt when they loved others. What words come to your mind? Describe how they felt. 

하나님은 모든 사람을 사랑하라고 말씀하세요. 그러니까 우리도 순종해서 모든 사람을 사랑해야 해요.  이제, 보아스, 나오미, 룻이 다른 사람을 사랑했을 때 어떤 기분이었을까요?

하나님께서 한나의 기도를 들으시다

We can trust in God and pray, or we can forget to talk to Him and try to make things work out on our own. Remember that God always hears us when we pray, and He cares about everything we say. 

하나님을 믿고 기도할 수도 있고, 하나님께 말하지 않고 스스로 해결하려고 할 수도 있어요.  하지만 꼭 기억하세요. 우리가 기도할 때 하나님은 항상 들으시고, 우리가 하는 모든 말을 중요하게 여기세요.

We have to pray no matter what!

모든 상황 속에서 우리는 기도해야 합니다!

하나님께서 사무엘에게 말씀하시다

This reminds me of 2 Peter 3:18a. What does this verse say? Because of their disobedience, God would no longer use Eli and his descendants; but God would use Samuel for valuable works throughout his lifetime.

이 이야기는 베드로후서 3장 18절 앞부분을 떠올리게 해요. 그 구절에는 뭐라고 나와 있을까요? 엘리의 집안은 불순종 때문에 하나님께 더 이상 쓰임받지 못했지만, 하나님은 사무엘을 그의 평생 동안 귀하게 사용하셨어요.

Let’s try hard to listen and remember, just like this animal!
